Designing Your Baseball Team Pin

Start with the name, mascot, or logo your team is known for. A hometown, season, or player number can add a personal touch.

Team Identity

Give your team name room to stand out

A wide banner works well for a longer name, with space for a hometown or season on a second line

Make your mascot the centerpiece

A mascot-shaped pin highlights your team character, while a separate ribbon gives the team name its own space

Keep the focus on your logo

A baseball or glove outline can add a recognizable baseball detail around your existing team mark

Player Numbers

Put the same roster on every pin

A border or dedicated number panel can display the team’s jersey numbers on one shared design

Give each player their own number

Keep the team artwork consistent and change the jersey number on each version

Review the numbers at pin size

We can help you choose a layout and review how the numbers will read at your selected size on the digital proof

Baseball Trading Pins FAQ

What are baseball trading pins?

Baseball trading pins are custom team pins that players swap at tournaments and keep as souvenirs. You can make yours with your team name, mascot, logo, or colors.

How many pins should each player bring?

Start with the trading opportunities you expect at the event and what fits your team’s budget. Choose how many pins each player will bring, multiply that by the number of players who plan to trade, then add any extras for coaches or team keepsakes.

What size should we choose?

  • For tournament trading: Our Baseball Team Trading Pins come in sizes from 1.5″ to 3″, with 1.75″ and 2″ as popular choices. A longer team name or a design with player numbers may benefit from a little more room.
  • For team caps: Consider where you’d like the pin to sit and how much of the cap you want it to cover.

If you’re unsure, share your artwork and how you’ll use the pin. We can help you choose a size and show the dimensions on your digital proof.

Does every player need a different design?

No. The whole team can trade the same pin. Individual names or numbers are optional.

How much are baseball trading pins?

Pricing depends on the quantity, size, production method, and any special effects, attachments, or packaging you choose. If you want more than one design, include the quantity for each when requesting a quote.

Can you make Cooperstown trading pins?

Yes. Send us your team logo or design idea, estimated quantity, and the date you need the pins in hand. We’ll help develop your design and confirm the schedule for your order.
